Triton
Tumlar Two Classic Yacht
Lake Zurich
Tumlare
Tumlare was once the most advanced type of cruiser in the world, designed by Knud Reimers who was one of the most important Scandinavian yacht designers of the 20th century.
Triton
The classic yacht is the 7th build of the Tumlar Two design, which is resembled by the «TT7» marking on the main sail. The construction took place in 1963 at Portier yacht yard at Lake Zurich.
The wooden yacht has been restored faithfully between 2022 and 2024 at Stefan Züst boat yard at Lake Constance.
Triton returned in original condition including its original Volvo engine to Lake Zurich in summer 2024. The yacht's name represents the Greek god of the sea, son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, god and goddess of the sea respectively.
